A message from the new owners at Art Things.

Hi everyone. Welcome to our “Shop Talk” blog. Katie and I wanted to take a minute to introduce ourselves as the new owners of Art Things. We also wanted to express our great gratitude to the former owner, Sarah Winchester, who shepherded the shop through COVID and beyond. We recognized in Sarah someone who, like us, wanted to support artists, participate in something really special, and keep Art Things independent and women-run.

On behalf of the entire Annapolis arts community, we want to thank Sarah for her stewardship of Art Things. We are thrilled to accept the baton from her and excited to continue writing the next chapter in the story of the little shop that could…

These past few weeks have been lovely to meet so many of you, patrons of the store who have memories of the old shop in West Annapolis, or are brand new to the brand. Thank you for being so willing to embrace Katie and me as we embark on this adventure. We’re learning a ton and listening to everyone who comes in, so keep sharing your stories and ideas with us. We’re all ears. More to come.
